Data Acquisition Software as Facilitation for the Development of Psychomotor Learning in Safe Machine Tool Training

摘要

Intelligent manufacturing must encompass the practical and economic considerations arising from inappropriate training. Both on a humanistic and economic level, efficient and effective training is essential to the success of any 'value adding activity'. This paper examines the generic training paradigm employed by instructors within the manufacturing engineering sector. The research proposes a novel mechanism to ameliorate the current imbalance and inadequacies in instructional training, with particular reference to the milling machine. This paper examines the utilization of data acquisition software as a means to augment the existing and developed strategies in current training methodologies, so as to produce improved learning curves, trainee competence and manufacturing efficiency.
