摘要

A computationally efficient Physical Optics based method is presented to determine the aperture fields of small shaped axial-symmetric dielectric lens antennas, where the classical Geometric Optics based approach fails. The non-axial symmetric feed's fields are decomposed into a Fourier series of azimuthal modes and a Body of Revolution Physical Optics is implemented. Overall computation time is compatible with the integration of this lens analysis method into intensive lens shape optimization loops.
