MODEL CORRECTION BY IDENTIFICATION OF LOCAL PARAMETERS

In the modelling of elastic systems the boundary conditions, bearings and joints are usually much less well known than the structure's main components. In addition, often the influence of the boundary conditions and of the interconnections on the system's dynamic behavior is underestimated. The present paper describes an approach for the identification of local parameters using modal data, which can be used for model correction.
