摘要

The process related to the adsorption of metals from the liquid to the solid phase is considered one of the most important among those involved with the behavior and bioavailability of heavy metals in soils.The knowledge of the mechanisms involving organic matter(OC)and mineral surfaces is useful for understanding the fate of such elements that may pollute soils and sediments.The objective of the present work was to quantify the variation in Cd,Zn,Cu,and Ni adsorption on samples of surface horizons of highly weathered tropical soils with wide range in OC contents.
