New trends in materials science and technology

The ever increasing need for more specialized materials continuously pushes the envelope of modern technology, equipment and human intellect. The materials science, technology and the industrial innovation for the next decades is based on the tetrahedron of the "BINC": the inter-relation between "bio" sciences - "info" technology, "nano"materials and "cogno" science: fig. 1. This new renaissance in science and technology unifies the societal structure for reaching human performance.
