This paper studies influence of periodic corrugated surfaces on the generation and propagation of Scholte wave. The coupling relation between parameters of periodic surfaces and the generation frequency of Scholte wave is studied through theoretical analysis which includes the theoretical derivations on dispersive velocity equation of Scholte wave and scattering coefficient equations of periodic corrugated surfaces,and also the calculation model has been set up by using finite element method, and numerical calculations prove that theory is correct. Through comparing results of theoretical calculations and numerical simulations, conclusions can be obtained that periodic corrugated surfaces play a role in the generation of Scholte wave, the finite-length periodic corrugated surfaces and hard seabed are the key factors for the generating long-range Scholte wave.
