The Framework for Evaluation of the Communication Bandwidth Market Models

Modeling market allocation of resources in communication networks is an active field of current research. There are different models with specific properties. The need for developing methods for objective evaluation of the models arises. The paper presents the methodology of computational research and analysis of the bandwidth trade models properties. The framework concerns the evaluation of a wide range of models for market allocation of communication network resources: e.g. the family of Balancing Communication Bandwidth Trade models [5, 4], combinatorial auction based c-SeBiDA model [3], simultaneous multi-unit Dutch auctions, distributed auction models (MIDAS) [2] etc.
