摘要

This article proposes a method which can be used for calculation of the temperature field and forecast the geometry of the hardened zone caused by plasma during surface heat treatment. It analyzes the connection between some important parameters and the hardened depth. The correctness and practicality of this method are proved with experimental results for quench hardening of 45{sup}# steel by plasma.
