Mechanical Life Expired for Time and Temperature Sensitive material (TATS) for composite materials is common with resin impregnated composite materials used in the production of aircraft panel. In fact the material expired contributes increasing of the total cycle time and also cost to manufacture the panel. There are numbers of factors that can contribute to the mechanical life expired for this type of materials. This paper is concentrating on the method to reduce material expired stated from material enter in the freezer and ends at autoclave process. To start this research the previous year's data for similar type of defect is analyzed. The most important variables causing the material expired are monitored including each steps process and sequence activities related to store and freezer until curing in autoclave. The combined use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) technique such as fishbone diagram and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) are applied effectively to design a system that can eliminate this potential causes. An observation is done to each process is stating on store and freezer until curing in autoclave will be giving better understanding to tackle this problem.
