This paper deals with an application of the so-called MEC Model, which has been developed by the Research Committee of Marine Environment in SNAJ for simulation of marine environment. In order to obtain not only physical properties such as velocity and density distribution but also biological factors of coastal environment, the ecosystem model has to be included in the simulation program. The sophisticated ecosystem models that consists of pelagic and sedimental model is proposed here and also the very simple model for short-term prediction method, developed by the authors previously, is employed in the present simulation. The results of velocity and phytoplankton distribution in Yura, a small bay area, located at southern part of Osaka Bay, and also in Osaka Bay itself are shown.
