Solid-State Carrier-Envelope Phase Detector

摘要

A solid-state device is demonstrated, which is capable of measuring the carrier-envelope phase of ultrashort (4-femtosecond), low-energy (unamplified) laser pulses unambiguously. The measurement is based on photoelectron emission from a gold surface in the multi-photon regime.
