A Web-Based Mesh Generation Tool

摘要

This work presents a mesh generation software applied to the Finite Element Method with a web-based version. From a HTML form, users supply the geometric model filename and the mesh attributes Based on this information, a PHP program interprets data and writes an input command file to the mesh generation software which is based on the MeshSim kernel. Another PHP program monitors the mesh generation process. After finishing, it sends an e-mail to the user with the status of the mesh generation process. If it has been successful, output files are available for download and a VRML file may be open in Internet browsers to visualize the mesh.
