In this paper a multi-substructure modal synthesis method is developed for a kind of multi-substructure systems in which a central substructure is rounded by many other smaller substructures. The method is easy to use, makes small on computer capacity demand and requires little on cost as well as time. It has been applied to the modal analysis of multi-blade-disk system models. The calculation results and the modal test data of these systems are listed for comparison.
