摘要

The structure, magnetostriction and magnetization of Tb_(0.27)Dy_(0.73)Fe_2 polycrystal along a < 110 > growth direction were investigated by X-ray diffraction, strain gauge and vibrating sample magnetometer. It is found that the oriented growth direction of Tb_(0.27)Dy_(0.73)Fe_2 polycrystal is a < 110 > direction. The magnetostriction of the sample quickly increases in the range of 0 < H≤100 kA/m under a pressure of 10 MPa. A "jump" effect occurs during the magnetization process and the magnetostriction reaches 1500x10~(-6) at a magnetic field of 100 kA/m under a pressure of 10 MPa. The magnetization of Tb_(0.27)Dy_(0.73)Fe_2 crystal along the parallel direction to rod axis is less than that along the vertical direction to rod axis.
