Enabling Agricultural Knowledge Representation on the Semantic Web

The current Web, which is consumed only by the persons, not the computers, hinders the access to its information with its huge amount of detail pieces of information. The Semantic Web (Berners-Lee et al., 2001) as the next generation web in which information is coded well defined meaning, better enable computers and people to work in cooperation. In this paper we show how to represent agricultural knowledge on the Semantic Web. The knowledge is a significant basis for numerous agricultural applications and web services.
