ROLLING STOCK AND ASSET MANAGEMENT: Diversification model and subcompanies of SBB

The diversification model of SBB the Swiss Railway, is in constant movement, in line with changing customer requirements and new market conditions. The SBB model is depicted with its opportunities and risks, using the practical examples of two diversification fields. These are SBB Real Estate as an independent business field (and "cash-cow"), and the SBB subsidiary Securitrans AG as provider of security services in the railway environment.
