The New Development of Prevention Techniques for Severe Methane and Coal Dust Explosion Accidents

At present, the accident of methane and coal dust explosion is the most serious hazards in Chinese coal mine. During the course of explosion, the explosion time is very short. But the explosion mechanism is very complex. This paper summarizes new development on prevention techniques and mechanism of methane and coal dust explosion by the experiments and numerical simulation. The paper is worth preventing, succoring and investigating accident of methane and coal dust explosion.
