A Recycling System of Jelly Filled Cable

A cascade refreshing extraction system was built for pre-treatment of reclaiming jelly filled cables. The petroleum jelly or petrolatum can be effectively removed and the degreased wire with non-degraded mechanical properties was suitable for consequent crashing and gravity separation process. In this system, the extracted solvent was separated in a distillation process and a re-new, "clean" solvent being continuously regenerated for cascade refreshing extraction. This technique is efficient and with satisfactory result that valuable conductors in an unoxidized state is recovered and petroleum jelly or petrolatum filler is separated.
