We have learned that there are certainly new generation antimicrobials that have opened up our treatment options and certainly provide some alternatives to the management of ocular infection. For our first case discussion here, I just want to go back to basics and ask our panel, starting off with Steve Pflugfelder. Steve, if you look at preoperative management of your patients before cataract surgery, we all recognize that a povidone iodine and scrub is the most effective means of having to maintain the clean field. What do you use? Do you use antibiotics as well?
