Heterobimetallic Transition Metal-Rare Earth Metal-Schiff Base Complexes and Applications to Bifunctional Asymmetric Catalysis
In asymmetric catalysis, the construction of flexible and readily tunable chiral environment is important to optimize the enantioselectivity in target reactions. Herein we report the utility of a dinuleating Schiff base 1 (Scheme 1) for transition metal-rare earth metal heterobimetallic cooperative catalysis. Selection of suitable two distinct metals enabled rapid tuning of chiral environment.
