Many dairy plants are increasing requirements for bacteriological quality of milk. This has presented new challenges to dairy producers to determine the sources of bacterial contamination of milk and to milk quality advisors to diagnose and recommendsolutions. Knowledge of the factors that influence coliform counts (CC) is needed to allow farmers to better manage milk quality. The objective of this study was to identify factors associated with coliform counts in bulk milk.
