"Any Fan" program is developed to design the high efficient low-noise fan based on exact prediction of performance and noise. The new design process of "Any Fan" is characterized by parametric geometry generation and extensive CAE. From those characteristics, the high efficient low-noise fan is designed exactly and the design cost and time are reduced efficiently. The "Any Fan" is consisted of concept design module, preliminary design module, and detailed design module. In concept design module, from the requirements and restrictions of fan design, the geometry of fan is generated and tested by using simple momentum and blade element theory. In preliminary design module is based on commercial program "FanNoise". By using "FanNoise", the performance and noise of the fan, which is generated at the concept design module, are numerically predicted. If the requirements are not fulfilled, process goes to the concept design module again. The detailed design module consists with the commercial program "FLUENT" and "FanNoise". "FLUENT" is used for the detailed flow analysis including viscous effects and "FanNoise" is used for the prediction of noise radiation. By using a newly developed "Any Fan" program, high performance low-noise fan can be designed efficiently. In this paper, the detailed explanations about "Any Fan" program and successful examples are addressed.
