It is well known that the growth of sweet pepper plant requires a high level of visible light transmission and also demands a very strict control of temperature and humidity. In order to enhance the crop yield, the earliness and the quality of the production of this crop, it is desired to use a controlled micro-climate through the use of agricultural plastic films (i.e. tunnel, greenhouse, mulch, etc).
