摘要

A combined experimental and theoretical study of the collision-induced dissociation of CO_(2)~(+) ions colliding with He in the energy range of 1 to 9 keV is presented. As a mean to investigate the collision dynamics of this molecular ion, total cross sections for ionic dissociation products are measured and calculated. A remarkable change on the dissociation dynamics is resolved. For the C~(+) dissociation product, the collision is fully described by electron dynamics (END) approach with the possible isomerization of the CO_(2)~(+) being discarded at these collision energies.
