Norit/X-Flow have seen a growth of opportunities in supplying membranes to partner OEM for various membrane ultrafiltration applications in the treatment of drinking and industrial water. Development was catalyzed by the development of new modules as well as new concepts, namely XIGA~(TM) and AQUAFLEX~(TM) to enable efficient yet cost-effective filtration processes. Installations so far are among the largest in the world projects such as the 70 million-gallon per day drinking water supply of the City of Minneapolis, MN. Another milestone is the municipal wastewater treatment and reuse project near Kuweit City treating 100 million gallons of water per day.
