摘要

This paper concerns control of coal mining technological processes for continuous miners by means of virtual reality technologies. In accordance with VRML97 specification, static and especially dynamic properties for VRML scenes have been employed. The Drill Control application represents a principal module, which enables real time interactive control of continuous miner on the coal face, observing alarm and system information, as well as load trends for both driving mechanisms of the mining drums.
