High Frequency Ultrasound Use of Current Instrumentation in Refractive Surgery

Anterior chamber evaluation demands high frequency equipment because of the need for higher resolution in this area. We are currently using the commercial scanner at 50 MHz. Examples of this work follow.UBM: corneal thickness at ectasia site, correlation of thinning at UBM and corneal curvature at topography,UBM in LASIK evaluation: interface, residual stromal thickness in case of reoperation, epithelialization.
