Parallel projection algorithms for tridiagonal toeplitz systems

摘要

The algorithms in this paper are based on projection methods for solving systems of linear equations. The coefficient matrix is assumed to be nonsingular tri-diagonal and Toeplitz. In addition, such systems arise with a positive definite or diagonally dominant matrix. Introducing a set of perturbations, subsystems can be set up for parallel solution with corrections to follow. Numerical results are included.
