Computer-aided design models of technologies and processes in open pit mining

The adopted of the 1997 US consortium (OMG Object Management Group) as the standard object-oriented methodology(Unified Modeling Language, UML) has opened up new possibilities for staging and complex problem-solving computeraideddesign of large and complex dynamic systems. In this regard, there is a real possibility of creating a computer-aideddesign (CAD) of deep open pits as a whole and a focused organizational and technical system that provides design anddevelopment projects and technical documentation, necessary and sufficient for the construction of the projected open pitand its subsequent efficient exploitation. A CAD system of deep open pits is a set of interconnected objects, the structuralunits of which form an integral unity and ensure the design and implementation of deep open pits with one or moreapproved technologies with the latest computer-aided design. Thus, CAD for open pits is an integral unity of a collectionof objects (components), each of which has the property to organize and/or to carry out one or more units of planningactivity or business process system design, some of which entail design actions using computer methods, but as subjects- object model design, which supports a sustainable and replicable system relationship.
