摘要

The AZ31 magnesium alloy was coated with high purity magnesium by vacuum deposition process. The corrosion resistance could be improved by coating with high purity magnesium. Although there were a lot of voids and pin hole at the interface and in the coating layer in as deposited specimens, they were disappeared by the hot press, resulting in improvement of adhesion. Moreover, corrosion resistance was also improved by hot press.
