This paper reports the results of flow field for wind loads on free-standing walls using two turbulence models. There is very little information available on the sensitivity of results of wind flow on free -standing walls, at fixed inlet boundary condition to the variability in turbulence models. Analysis by CFD using two turbulence models, standard k-e, and Anisotropic k-e are applied to the incompressible steady flow fields around a two-dimensional free-standing walls (F.S.W), and thus their relative performances are examined. An investigation into the effect of choice of turbulence model has been carried out for freestanding walls. The study shows that for using various turbulence models have a substantial effect on the solution showing different flow behavior downstream the leeward. Finally, results of numerical simulations are presented in the form of velocity vectors, and pressure contours
