The openXchange framework for ebXML based business process integration

Business process integration is the key in doing seamless e-business for organizations. Methods and frameworks are needed, and are becoming available. However the world of these methods and frameworks is not completely crystallized yet, but as framework ebXML is very promising. This paper addresses ebXML and proposes an ebXML based architecture called the openXchange reference architecture. This architecture will be the fundament for the development of the openXchange software components, and the openXchange pilots in Germany in the Netherlands, done by the openXchange consortium.
