Generalized nets and IDEF3 methodologies ― analysis and comparison

摘要

In order to propose, compare and combine the best methodologies, tools and practices in process modelling, a detailed comparison and analysis between IDEF3 Process Description Capture Method and the Global Methodology using Generalized Nets is presented. In this paper the description of the basic features and capabilities of both methodologies is illustrated with appropriate examples of process models.
