The modification and design of a condensation mechanism with a self-irrigation system for growth of plants is possible. Modified polystyrene has shown the ability of offering better advantages than other polymers under investigation. A number of water-resilient seeds can strive and grow in such a system with minimal cost. Acacia Sp. has shown to be the best choice. Combining water absorption and ease of fabrication with the following secondary benefits offers great hope for the growth of vegetation, trees and shrubs, and the elimination of soil irrigation in remote areas: a. Shadow during the daylight. An important factor in an area such as the Nevada desert where the sun's rays can become detrimental to the vegetation b. Protective cover. For example in the State of Wisconsin which loses a record number of growing trees in the form of food by wild animals. c. An application for recycled plastics and paper products. d. Use of degradable materials. e. Use of fertilizer in conjunction with a time releasing mechanism. It is predicted that, depending on the outcome of this project, a product can be designed and offered to the market.
