Water mod narrow face is suppressed, and penetration depth of gas bubbles becomes shallow. N, which is lined with a lot of spherical convex projections in the nozzle bore, is highly effective in suppressing the biased flow in the nozzle and in the mold. The mogul SEN is expected to contribute to steel quality improvement. We are presently testing the mogul lined SEN in some casters.
