Flying boats are not widely used today, but if the sea-keeping quality is improved, its usefulness will be Increased and more wide applications other than rescue purpose will be possible as one of the fast transportation system at sea. Flying boat is one of the high speed boat when she is on the water, and the seakeeping quality, namely the dynamic motions and the spray from wave are important. Considering these points, the conventional wind tunnel is not enough especially for experimental evaluation of its dynamics on waves in high speed condition. For carrying out experiments of the taking off and alighting (or landing) of flying boats on waves, we realized a high speed guiding system utilizing conventional towing tank, even though the length is limited as 100m. In this report, we describe about this high speed guiding system that can guide the model of a "self propelling flying boat" and about examples of measured motions and forces with some numerical calculations
