A new fossil complex of organic microorganisms from Upper Vendian deposits of Mezen syneclise is described. This complex consists of cyanobacterial mat fragments represented by taxa Leiotrichoides tipicus Hermann, 1974 and Palaeolyngbya aff. catenata Hermann, 1974. On the surface of this communities were found remains of cord-like thalli Eoholynia mosquensis Gnilovskaya, 1975. They may be referred to the eucaryotic algae with parenchimatous type of tallus structure. The phytoleims of megascopic probably eucaryotic algae were also found jointly with organic biofilms. Their type of preservation was determinated by this burial with the organic biofilms prodused by cyanobacterial communities.
