摘要

The objectives of this study is to compare the performance of the PSD and PID controllers for (a) a cooling application with a step-change in load and (b) a heating application. In numerical simulation of a building energy system, the changeover from PID to PSD algorithm results in 63 and 42 percent lower energy cost for the cooling application with step-change and heating application, respectively, while there is no substantial change in the comfort conditions.
