This paper presents the preliminary results of an assessment study concerning the global energetic balance of a low capacity thermodynamic electro-solar plant. Installed on the site of the National Institute for Scientific Research (INRST) in Tunisia since 1984, the plant consists of a field of flat plate solar collectors, a hot water storage tank and a Turbo Generator Group. Based on the analysis of the plant's records and annual reports of operation, a fifteen-year evaluation study has been conducted to assess the global operation balance of the plant in terms of energy production and its contribution to the environmental protection.
