Viscosity of rubber-bitumen compositions during storage

摘要

It was found that some flow properties of polymer modified bitumens changed during storage and handling. Rubber-bitumen compositions were prepared for road construction. In practice it could be useful if some kind of post polymerisation reactions took place, because it could strengthen bonding of aggregates. The change of dynamic viscosity during storage was studied in function of production parameters and raw materials. Suitable raw materials and manufacturing parameters were selected for fostering advantageous changes in the flow properties.
