摘要

The mammography is the only method that reduces the mortality of breast cancer until 44 %, demonstrated in screening projects (Sweden, Netherlands, USA) [1]. Up to 20 % of the detected cancers are DCIS (ductal cancer in situ). The DCIS are differentiated into low grade and high grade DCIS and especially the high grade DCIS contains up to 80 % microcalcifications. In contrast to this, round lesions and masses are much more difficult to diagnose and the rate of detected small cancers with a diameter up to 1 cm is documentated with 70 % [2].
