The Interface Specification of HLA defines sets of services to support realization of distributed simulations and RTI is software that implements these services. Time Management of RTI provides a transparent time management mechanism for distributed interactive simulation to ensure that federates using varied local time management mechanisms in a federation could run harmoniously. In this paper we research on time advance mechanism of distributed interactive simulation based on HLA/RTI in detail and design a simulation system to discuss problems in Time Management. At last simulation results is given.
