The departure degree between the center of mass of firearm and the axis of bore will affect the stability and precision of shooting, so it should be measured as an important parameter in the test of firearm. To meet with the high efficiency and precision demand of measuring, a intelligent system using the method of equity of moment to measure the center of mass of firearm is introduced, it is consisted of two measuring instruments of center of mass of large and small firearms and an electronic control system. The electronic control system uses a single chip AT89C52, and has many popular components like TLC1543 and MAX232. The measuring system can sample, process and save the data of center of mass and communicate with the upper computer automatically, so it can control the measuring period on time.
