Laser screen target for projectile velocity is a device measuring projectile velocity using laser screen. Because it is a kind of non-touching method for the projectile velocity and the laser screen is very thin, the measurement can be precise. The signal analysis of laser screen target for projectile velocity is mainly to calculate the interval of projectiles passing two different screen targets. Because of the short distance between targets and the higher speed of the projectile objects, the interval is very short. The calculation of the interval must be precise. This paper introduces two methods about how to calculate the interval, and discusses their advantages and defects in detail. One method is searching for characteristic points. The other is matching signals. It has been proved by experiments that the two methods are effective.
