Oxygen Activation: New Mechanisms

摘要

Di-oxygen is the cheapest reactant for introducing new chemical functions in molecules. It is also the most convenient for the destruction of pollutants. A major objective of R & D is to find ways to increase the knowledge of reaction mechanisms when di-oxygen is a reactant. Sound bases for further understanding exist, for example in concepts like "phase co-operation" or "site isolation", newly published correlations or the strange role of hydrogen in new oxidation reactions or oxidation processes. The proposed communication constitutes an attempt to show links between the general knowledge, new experimental effects of different nature and some recent concepts.
