摘要

The constant evolution that based-nickel brazing filler metals experiment towards new alloys with lower nickel content, is mainly motivated by the rise in the price of this element in recent years. In this study a first approach to these new alloys has been done, trying to evaluate their applicability to the production process of Dayco Ensa by brazing in continuous reducing atmosphere furnace. It has also been made a comparative study with conventional nickel filler metals through microstructure and mechanical characterization in standardized austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content samples.
