Influence of Electric Current Passing Through Interface on Wetting of Zirconia with Metals

摘要

The influence of current passing through the interface on the wetting of zirconia by metal melts (copper, nickel, alloys) in vacuum was investigated. It has been found that electric current can improve wetting. The observed effects were used for brazing of zirconia to metal.
