Successful strategic planning in town government

摘要

The Strategic Planning Process used in South Windsor can be used as a model for other local government agencies in bringing about effective positive change toward the short and long-term goals of the community. Overcoming an organizational structure with multiple competing interests through the Strategic Planning Process can yield concrete results allowing the municipality to clearly define and achieve its goals and objectives. The case study presented herein demonstrates the overall methodology used to improve performance excellence in municipal government.
