摘要

With the objective to give devices in fluid power control systems a certain degree of "plug and play" capability, CAN in Automation developed together with its members the CANopen device profile for hydraulic drives and proportional valves. The device profile is based on the bus independent device profile for hydraulic and pneumatic devices, which was developed by VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau). The device profile is applicable to static as well as mobile hydraulic applications. Therefore system designers can integrate devices from different manufacturers into one network quite easily. Furthermore system designers can re-utilize the devices in different applications.
