Stewart platform is commonly used 6-DOF (Degree Of Freedom) motion platform in the driving and flight simulators. In this research the use of water hydraulics in Stewart platform is studied. The motion platform has six water hydraulic cylinders which are controlled by proportional directional valves. In previous studies problems with synchronization of actuators have been noticed. This is caused by highly nonlinear friction in water hydraulic actuators and valves. This paper presents improvement of motion control system for water hydraulic motion platform. Special attention has been paid into synchronous movements of the actuators.
